I had so much fun coming up with the writing prompts for What Happens Next? That I decided to write a story for one of them. It’s a lighthearted tale about a girl named Dani who wakes up very different from how she went to bed. I hope to have it published available for download on Amazon within the week.
Before I opened my eyes I smelled the bacon. It popped and sizzled in the frying pan down in the kitchen. My mouth watered. I yawned, stretched, and scratched behind my ear – with my foot.
My eyes snapped open and I sat upright in bed. Something was not right. Something was very, very wrong.
